Game On! Coyote Conversations Talks Sports, Success and Life Lessons
November 2 2026
If there’s one thing CSN President Dr. Stacy Klippenstein enjoys, it’s talking sports. And in the latest episode of Coyote Conversations, he gets plenty of opportunities to do just that.
With the studio decked out in Coyote Athletics gear, pom-poms and plenty of school spirit, Klippenstein welcomed Athletics Director Jason Herbers and Head Baseball Coach Nick Aiello for a lively conversation filled with friendly sports banter, a few laughs and some meaningful lessons about life beyond the game.
The conversation tackles a big question: What does success really look like for a student-athlete?
With more than 200 student-athletes across its programs, CSN Athletics is about much more than wins and losses. Last year, 47 student-athletes earned Academic All-American honors, while dozens more made the President’s, Dean’s and Honors lists.
Herbers and Aiello get real about balancing academics and athletics, why failure is an important part of growth and what it takes to prepare students for opportunities beyond CSN.
The trio also talks about the future of Coyote Athletics, recruiting local talent and building a program that Southern Nevada can rally behind.
And while there’s plenty of sports talk, the takeaway is something everyone can appreciate: Success isn’t just about winning. It’s about what you learn along the way.
Whether you’re a die-hard Coyotes fan, a student-athlete or just someone who enjoys a good conversation, this episode is worth a watch.
